2012 Toes in the Toe Watershed Discovery

September 6th & 7th —Yancey County schools at Patience Park
September 13th & 14th —Mitchell County schools at Riverside Park

An opportunity for Yancey and Mitchell county 5th grade students to experience the out-
doors in their community. Each class will attend the festival for one day, rotating through a
series of stations giving the students hands-on opportunities to learn about everything
from composting to aquatic insects.
